Welsh cupboard
A fine Welsh two part cupboard (Deuddarn) in oak with panelled front, sides and back for lighter construction. decorative drop finials beneath a generous moulded cornice, bone inlaid key escutcheons and original decorative plate handles to the drawers, there is one later handle to the bottom door. Cupids bow shaped panels to the top doors, terminating on simple stile feet. Shelved interiors to both top and bottom, the piece is in two pieces for ease of movement. A very attractive and useful storage piece with excellent patina.
