Late Medieval processional cross
A stunning processional cross in the gothic style. Carved in two parts, the cross with fleur de lys and having four terminals and quatrefoil flower heads. The octagonal base which the cross slots into is carved with blind tracery and is in the style of a font and cover. Original gilt and polychrome, some old worm damage no longer active.
