C18th Alpine chair
A good example of a traditional primitive chair from the Alpine regions. Sturdily constructed from oak and with a shaped back with a heart motif cut out. These chairs have been produced with little change to the design since the sixteenth century and can be found in a variety of timbers, this example is in excellent order with a soft patina.
