C18th Comb back chair
A wonderful large scale comb back Windsor chair of great character and presence. Made from ash elm and beech with a shaped elm saddle seat, cabriole front legs and boldly turned stretcher. The chair has a soft caramel patina which gives it a lightness. There is an old repair to the seat which is stable and an old repair to the shaped cresting rail. The chair is extremely comfortable and is sturdy.
