Rare Welsh open arm chair
A superb oak armchair with twin fielded panels to the back and turned front legs and arm supports. Of fine quality the back legs and rear stretcher are moulded as are all rails visible from the front, the central upright between the seat and front stretcher is a very rare feature. The chair has a wonderful solid stature with a wide seat and low back and is in fine condition with just a small tipped foot to one back leg and a slither repair to the front of one side of the seat. The patina is superb with deep graduation from caramel to almost black with a lustrous glow. A wonderful chair.
