Primitive pig bench
A pig bench of primitive form in solid oak, sturdy flat form legs, authentic surface and patina, good thick top. Often utilised now as coffee tables these sturdy pieces have a sculptural quality and are notoriously difficult to date with any certainty. This is a good example that is certainly no later than the nineteenth century.
