Fine pair of walnut stools
A Superb pair of turned walnut stools one is late 17th Century and the other is an exact replica made in the early to mid 19th Century. Both are upholstered in a late 17th or early 18th Century tapestry which has some small areas of damage. The 19th Century stool has faded to a rich caramel colour whilst the 17th Century stool is a few shades darker. Both have a soft, warm patina.
